Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with physical and functional process models
  • 5+ years of experience with conducting threat research focused on nation-state, criminal, or malicious Cyber activities
  • Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
  • Experience with programming languages such as languages such as Python, C++, and Java
  • Experience conducting vulnerability analyses and assessments to determine defeat options
  • Experience with tools such as Metasploit, Wireshark, and Nmap
  • Knowledge of software and coding
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or IT
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to help customers solve problems using the latest software
  • Using penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and threat monitoring to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations
  • Oversee the monitoring of security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary
  • Impact a critical mission area by monitoring the network environment for new and evolving threats and supporting damage assessment activities to assess adversary capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using engineering research and reverse engineering to conduct analyses, physical and functional characterizations, and vulnerability assessments on foreign nuclear capabilities
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix systems
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master’s degree in CS, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field
  • Offensive Security Certified, or Professional (OSCP) or Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
