Requirements
- 2+ years experience in geospatial concepts across the following or similar technologies: ArcGIS Pro, QGIS
- Proven experience managing multiple, on-going projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for climate
- Experience working with multiple teams ranging from Business to Engineering
Responsibilities
- Manage tasking and data acquisition projects
- Using customer data, create Areas of Interest (AOIs) and tasking one or multiple satellite constellations with acquiring the imagery
- Working on creative strategies for fulfilling projects of varying size and complexity
- Communicating progress of projects to relevant teams within Overstory
- Work very closely with Data Ingestion engineers to optimise supporting automation in an on-going effort to streamline acquisition
- Support our Sales team to quickly assess data availability and project feasibility
- Collaborate with our Customer Success team to communicate project status and generate alternate acquisition strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years Commercial Satellite Imagery Industry experience
- Python experience or similar (Jupyter notebooks, GIS automation)
- Prior work in a high-growth startup or mission-driven company
