Requirements
- 3+ years of data engineering experience, with knowledge of AWS services and modern data stack components (Fivetran, dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, Monte Carlo, Atlan)
- Hands-on experience with dbt and data modeling techniques
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and pipeline development
- Understanding of data governance and PII handling practices
- Familiarity with maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong focus on data quality and problem-solving
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, analytics, and business teams
- Interest in continuously expanding data engineering knowledge and skills
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain data pipelines for analytics and operational workflows using SQL and Python
- Follow best practices in dbt, data modeling, and ELT/ETL development
- Design and develop data warehouse models, tables, and schemas to support scalable and maintainable analytics solutions
- Build and sustain workflows with Airflow (Astronomer) for efficient data orchestration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions aligned with business needs
- Support data governance practices and handle PII and sensitive data appropriately in cloud environments
- Work with AWS services for infrastructure management and operations
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capabilities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices
