Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field of study
- Experience creating and managing data models, ETL development and data warehousing
- Software languages and software system development experience (Python and JavaScript)
- Familiarity and experience with search query languages (SQL, No-SQL)
- Knowledge of common data storage formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
- Familiarity with the software development cycle
- Extensive experience building unit tests
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Development, design, and adaptation of proprietary data formats that capture real world entities in realistic, transportable, and explanatory data models
- Developing changes to the model to support continually evolving system and information requirements
- Ensuring that the data model captures the use cases that the software systems are responsible for
- Interfacing directly with data architects and software developers to communicate changes to the data model.
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital forensic domain background.
- Normalizing data accounting for multiple organizational and operational concerns.
- Experience working with an ontologist.
- Experience handling complex and conflicting customer requirements.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
