Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in managing, designing, and developing large scale Extract Transform and Load (ETL) and Data Warehousing solutions across multiple data sources.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in architecting data solution for curating on-premises data in Cloud environments in AWS.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in defining master data management Data Quality rules.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in supporting high availability Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing environments involving Databricks, Teradata Vantage, and message brokers including Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in capacity planning, process redesign, and re-engineering of complex integration solution.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in using Agile delivery methodologies to translate business and functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in working with offshore teams and managing deliveries in a distributed environment.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in Spark based development using Python.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in Structure Query Language (SQL) Performance Tuning and Query Optimization by Indexing, Partitioning, and Denormalization.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in Extract Transform & Load (ETL) Workflow management in performing Data Profiling, Data Migration, Extraction, and Transformation using master data management (MDM).
  • Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, manage, and oversee a team of data warehousing professional employees in the U.S., including Associate Managers, Systems Analysts, and Senior ETL Developers.
  • Assign work and work schedules, and monitor the completion of teams’ core duties, responsibilities, assignments, and projects.
  • Exercise exclusive control and authority over approving work product of team members.
  • Exercise full discretionary authority over planning, staffing, execution of project, and oversight.
  • Direct coordination and consultation with internal senior management on project risks, concerns, and financials.
  • Build analytical systems from ground up, which includes providing architectural directions, translating business issues into specific requirements to develop analytic solutions, and identifying appropriate data to support solutions.
  • Work across Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
  • Conduct feasibility study, capacity planning, and process redesign/re-engineering of complex integration solutions.
