Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of banking or metadata experience
- Familiarity with Collibra or similar metadata management tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with data governance
- Knowledge of data management best practices and industry standards
- Competency with Office 365, SharePoint, Visio, MS-Project, Alteryx, Collibra Data Governance, Collibra Data Quality, PowerBI, Tableau
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain metadata in Collibra, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Manage reference data, business glossary, KDEs, and data catalog.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and document metadata requirements.
- Ensure metadata standards and guidelines are followed.
- Assist in the design of metadata workflows to manage the metadata in Collibra.
- Provide support and training to users on metadata tools and processes.
- Provide review and challenge for KDE prioritization exercise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking subject matter knowledge from prior branch manager or teller experience can be substituted for metadata experience
