Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related finance occupation supporting data management within the financial industry
  • Five (5) years of experience must include: Embedding Data Management controls using products including Corporate Loans, Derivatives, Credit Cards, Deposits, Mortgages, and Secured Financing Transactions; Determining the Data Quality rule across dimensions including accuracy, completeness, and timeliness used to identify and measure the quality of the Critical Data Element for reports; Conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments of Data Quality rule breaks, issues, and their remediation by upstream data providers to create new processes to support prioritization; Identifying the impact of the Data Quality rule breaks on regulatory reports including Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), and Federal Reserve 2052A (Regulatory Report); Contributing to project workstreams of Data Quality related to the Consent Order to interface with Global Functions including Finance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Lines of Business; and Conducting Data Quality business rules analysis to understand implementation requirements and aligning these to Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls standards to drive appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activities that support the execution, enablement, and adoption of the Data Transformation Plan and support use cases through collaboration with functions, regions, and lines of business
  • Partner with stakeholders, including senior management, and engage in cross-functional collaboration to achieve outcomes
  • Gather, synthesize, and distill detailed information to deliver crisp and succinct executive-level communication
  • Develop and maintain the book of work, tracker, and RAID logs to produce statistics on the progress made and content for relevant governance forums
  • Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional, complex problems within and across programs
  • Coordinate with Senior Management and liaise between the Enterprise Chief Data Office, Federated Chief Data Office, and other key partners in the Functions and Lines of Business to progress the Data Transformation agenda
  • Lead work streams focusing on broad range of data initiatives including defining and refining data quality requirements for Product, Critical Data Elements, Data Quality issues management and its remediation, Implementation of Data Quality rules, and creation of system lineage for each BCBS 239 report and taxonomy
  • Develop business requirements, process mapping of current and future state processes, communicate applications of new processes, and facilitate the change management program to move to the new process.
