Requirements
- 2-4+ years of experience in technical product management, ideally with a focus on analytics or data platforms.
- Direct experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Data Cloud from a data integration and orchestration perspective.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI, Quicksight, Omni, Looker, etc.
- Ability to work with SQL, Python, or other languages, with a desire to build stronger data analytics skillsets.
- Strong experience with platform integrations, including internal products and third-party platforms using APIs, webhooks, etc.
- Experience working with and interviewing end customers and internal stakeholders to generate product requirements.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory standards related to data storage and transfer.
- Strong facilitation skills to lead productive meetings and deliver impactful training.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills to quickly incorporate information from multiple sources, produce actionable recommendations, and drive delivery of technical implementations to high standards.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage external partnerships and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining and maintaining the vision and roadmap for data products, focusing on supporting business goals and improving data accessibility.
- Work with stakeholders from different departments to understand their data needs and document requirements for data product features.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to support the development, testing, and implementation of data products, including data pipelines and dashboards.
- Participate in project planning, track progress, and help ensure timely delivery of new data features.
- Work alongside data engineering and governance teams to monitor data quality and ensure adherence to data standards.
- Help document data definitions, standards, and quality assurance processes for key data products.
- Act as a point of contact for data product questions, helping business users understand and use data products effectively.
- Assist with developing training materials and conduct basic user training sessions to guide teams in leveraging data insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on large-scale sporting events or global programs.
- Familiarity with systems architecture design and experience as a user of data orchestration and data warehouse tools.
- Entrepreneurial aptitude to identify and pursue improvement opportunities utilizing technology throughout the organization.
