Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Strong SQL skills – ability to write and optimize queries to extract and manipulate data
- Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development
- Experience with Python, R, or SAS for data analysis and predictive modeling is a plus
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehouses, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD, etc.) is preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data to identify trends and opportunities for operational and clinical improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and refine reporting needs, ensuring deliverables meet business objectives
- Design and optimize data models, pipelines, and workflows to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and DB tools to support hospital leadership in decision-making
- Create user-friendly visualizations and reports to highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and support decision-making
- Partner with business analysts, report writers, and leadership to define BI requirements and strategies
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and technical support to promote adoption of BI tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Analytics, Data Science or related field
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR’s) preferably Allscripts EHRs
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) and big data technologies
