Requirements
- Moderate relevant experience.
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the interface and point of liaison between cyber security and the business IT teams in order to undertake analysis into designated areas from a business solution, IT system or process perspective to identify problems, challenges or opportunities
- Leading in an agile working environment successfully; such as coach /mentor, encourage working collaboratively, encourage and support innovation and be flexible with personal style and approach towards others.
- Specializing in process, business or systems analysis and will be required to use one or a combination of those skills to identify gaps in business procedures, gather both high level and detailed requirements and where appropriate define or redesign processes, methods of working with business applications, workflow or other related business tools as may be necessary
- Identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies and promoting positive changes to the analysis process
- Managing essential process documentation and project implementation of functional and technical solutions by collaborating with business partners to gather business requirements, provide expertise and guidance and help execute plans to enhance business capability, achieve results and support organizational growth
- Develop standards for the analysis function to meet emerging demand, e.g. cyber security, digital, AI etc.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of the strategic technical roadmap for the given domain along with architects and heads of technology
- Work with Business Partnering, Project Managers, Developers and Solution Architects to assist in the implementation of business led change, in order to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Supporting the PM’s by working on UAT plans, including supporting the business in helping to define UAT test cases.
- Participate in defect triage and prioritization, and also addressing any requirements defects, changes or questions that come out of QA testing
- Active participation in driving departmental and business unit vision, values and strategy to appropriately align initiatives
- Active participation the development of the team’s business plan in order to maximize service delivery
- Drive overall improvement in quality of analysis outputs
- Active drive and participation with other disciplines within IT to ensure that any solutions are aligned to both business and IT strategy
- Build relationships with industry and subject matter experts by regularly communicating to underpin the strategic and technical vision or roadmap within area of responsibility
- Serve as business analyst expert by guiding and mentoring analysts as required and collaborating with management to ensure team alignment with key stakeholder objectives
- Engage and communicate effectively with business stakeholders, business owners and representatives
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure objectives are met.

- Experience working with Property and Casualty insurance products.
- Experience with Personal Lines insurance.
- Experience with Commercial Property and Liability insurance.
- Experience with Worker’s Remuneration insurance.
- Experience with Specialty Lines insurance.
- Experience with Accident and Health insurance.
- Some experience in a similar tech service environment within related industries.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, agile, collaborative environment.
- Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business Management Information Systems, or Economics.
