Requirements
- 5+ years experience in the Department of Defense ecosystem – Industry, Service, Joint, or Office of the Secretary of Defense – doing business development, or a related role
- Experience with Autonomy, Automation, or Artificial Intelligence technologies and their applications to National Security and Defense
- Bachelors and/or Masters in a technical field
- Ability to execute thoughtfully and efficiently, with a “no task is too big or too small” mindset to get the job done
- Willingness to wear many hats and execute with a “can-do” attitude
- Passion for building a deep understanding of autonomous systems applications to National Security and Defense
Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with partner Defense prime contractors, Defense Program Executive Offices and other relevant DOD organizations. Maintain a high level of customer intimacy within these communities
- Develop and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline in CRM
- Capture new business in alignment with Applied’s technical expertise and Defense strategic roadmap
- Assist with development of a detailed annual Defense business development plan
- Coordinate, lead, and/or support proposal activities
