Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Formal training as a dental assistant required
- Radiology certification required
- Experience with cone beam imaging desired
- Three years’ experience as a dental assistant desired
- Continuing education in laser-based dentistry desired
Responsibilities
- Provide chair-side dental assisting services
- Take radiographs
- Assist with laser-based treatments
- Prepare trays
- Maintain and place requests for supplies
- Maintain and clean dental equipment and instruments
- Assist with care coordination office duties such as pre-authorization, scheduling, and phone communication with patients
- Maintain quality outcome indicators for the clinic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cone beam imaging desired
- Continuing education in laser-based dentistry desired
