Requirements
- 7+ years of experience managing a department in a manufacturing environment, preferably related to dental and/or 3D Printing, OR 2+ years (post-grad) of consulting experience specializing in manufacturing or service operations
- Ability to be full-time onsite in Dallas location Mon-Fri
- Proven track record of improving KPIs at a team and/or department level
- Comfortable performing data analysis and making decisions based on the results
- Experience reporting on performance metrics during recurring business meetings
- Passion for breaking down complex problems into smaller manageable steps in order to help team members effectively work through the ambiguity
- High level of comfort with digital tools and technology
- Very high attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player attitude and willingness to help others to help the team exceed expectations
- Natural curiosity and ability to learn new concepts, tools, and workflows quickly
- Strong self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders to push improvement initiatives to completion

Responsibilities
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve workflows and processes for optimal efficiency and scalability
- Outline, track, and report on key performance indicators to drive accountability and informed decision-making to help the facility reach new levels
- Quickly troubleshoot and solve people, process, and technology issues as you operate within large scale and fast paced dental lab
- Monitor and enforce adherence to strict manufacturing quality standards (e.g., equipment maintenance and repair) and roll up your sleeves to lead by example where needed
- Develop and optimize workflows to ensure your department properly tracks key inventory (e.g., resins, PPE) and re-supplies as needed
- Lead, scale, and continuously train a team of 25+ technicians as they execute daily operational tasks
- Work with other teams to proactively identify and address high priority improvement opportunities
- Report directly to the facility’s Director of Manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previously built and/or led departments in a manufacturing environment, including the operational infrastructure (e.g., inventory management software, written SOPs)
- Previous manufacturing experience with partials
- Recognized Graduate, CDT or higher certification
- Built and/or led a CAD / CAM production environment using 10+ 3D printers before
- Worked specifically with Carbon printers and nesting software
- Experience nesting and printing a wide array of products including models, night guards, and dentures
- Outstanding professional references to share
