Requirements
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant military / professional experience in Logistics.
- Must have experience in warehousing, packaging, handling, shipping & receiving.
- Must be able to operate and maintain standard warehouse equipment/vehicles (e.g. folk lift, reach lift, and pallet jack).
- Experience using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint required.
- Must be able and willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
- Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
- Must be able and willing to accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location.
- Must be able to meet medical and vaccination requirements for worldwide travel.
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Responsibilities
- Modify maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components.
- Develop requisitions for and manage records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities.
- Review configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment.
- Document equipment, component and parts conditions; and identify logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.
Preferred Qualifications
- Top Secret security clearance.
- Understanding of government Bonded Stock, and Shop Stock requirements.
- Knowledge of AFI 21-101.
- Familiarity with military and commercial transportation/distribution, freight tendering, standards for packing/packaging, DD Form 1149, AFMAN 24-204, DoD processes for domestic and overseas shipments.
