Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5-10 years of professional experience in the financial services industry specifically as a technology architect
- Strong financial experience with integrated execution and clearing platforms & infrastructure; experience with Futures & Options, Clearing of OTC Derivatives
- Proficiency in Database like SQL server, oracle and experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, or similar)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance derivative execution & clearing operations aligning with client, business and regulatory needs
- Work across business and technology to design the optimal infrastructure from a technology solutions approach
- Analyze and interpret complex data from multiple sources to inform decision-making and strategic investments
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to automate processes and support data analysis
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes and data quality
- Participate in the continuous improvement of data management systems and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
- Programming experience in Java or other advanced languages
- Experience with ION applications such as XTP is a plus
