Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, C/C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment
- Digital Logic Design and Verilog HDL
- Understanding of programming issues such as OO design, data structures, sorting, recursion, stack overflow and greedy algorithms
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
- Static Timing Analysis
- Power Delivery Verification and Analysis
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering and 8+ years related experience.
Responsibilities
- Using Bash, Python, Ruby, or TCL scripting to automate design tool processes
- Development of complex tools in languages such as C++
- Debugging tool and design flow related issues for IC designers
- Providing support/training on tools and methodologies to engineers at multiple geographies
- Working directly with EDA vendors to resolve tool issues
- Applying hardware/software skills to create innovative solutions
- Developing documentation and training on custom flows and internal tools
