Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in each of the following: Git workflows (branching, etc.) and release engineering approaches to software development, Building highly automated infrastructure and cloud-native applications deployed in AWS, GCP, or Azure, Delivering infrastructure-as-code solutions using CloudFormation, Terraform, and/or Packer, One or more configuration management tool such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef—preferably Ansible, AWS architecture, security, IAM roles and policies, Advanced skills and expertise troubleshooting Linux system networking, storage, and related services (i.e., HTTP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VLANs, etc.)
- Understanding and familiarity with either NIST 800-53, 800-171, CMMC, or related compliance policies (e.g., CIS) and their implementation within a security automation context (e.g., Ansible)
- Security + certification (or CISSP) within 90 days of onboarding
- Network administration experience (VLANs, Firewalls)
Responsibilities
- Develop automation for existing processes in a cloud environment using tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, and Packer
- Container development and orchestration (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes/Rancher, ArgoCD)
- Building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
- Develop and deploy DevSecOps capabilities within a multi-project, multi-team environment
- Understanding git workflows (branching, etc.) and release engineering approaches to software development
- Delivering infrastructure-as-code solutions using CloudFormation, Terraform, and/or Packer
- Developing Ansible playbooks for system configuration management
- Understanding and applying AWS IAM roles and security policies
- Troubleshooting Linux system networking, storage, and related services (i.e., HTTP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VLANs, etc.)
- Working within the constraints of NIST 800-53, 800-171, CMMC, or related compliance policies (e.g., CIS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AWS Organizations for centralized user policy management
- Experience with Python and Bash scripting for system automation
- Understanding of networking (VLANs, firewalls, subnets, proxy servers) in Linux environments
