Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
- 3+ years of experience automating, monitoring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in a production environment
- 3+ years of experience developing, managing, and securing containers
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, including Terraform, or Configuration-as-Code, including Ansible
- Experience with version control such as advanced Git usage, branching strategies, and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Experience with CI/CD GitLab pipelines, designing and implementing HA solutions, and advanced DR strategies and implementation
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in software engineering, or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Responsibilities
- Develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges
- Support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process
- Recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers
- Continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working closely with software development teams
- Experience in an Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer role
- Experience with project, task, and team leadership
- Experience deploying active AWS or Azure services using Infrastructure-as-Code technologies, including CloudFormation or Terraform
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services
- Experience with configmaps, RBAC, StatefulSets, and DaemonSets
- Experience with Java, Python, C#, C, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal
- Master’s degree
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certification
