Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with DE and MBSE for the DoD enterprise and systems development
- Experience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapons and test systems
- Experience with DE and MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored mode-based artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development
- Experience conducting model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on enterprise and system performance or behaviors
- Experience with the practical application of System Modeling Language (SyML) for weapon system modeling and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) for C5I networks and test systems modeling
- Experience with DE or MBSE tools, including MagicDraw or Cameo, Teamcenter, DOORS, and SBE Vision
- Knowledge of Weapon Open System Architecture (WOSA) design principles and technologies
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including with internal staff, external contractors, and government clients
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Science, Technology or Mathematics
Responsibilities
- Create critical systems to support the client’s Digital Engineering (DE) transformation
- Consult with the government on the Government Reference Architecture (GRA) ecosystem being developed to support weapon and test systems design and integration approaches
- Use system engineering expertise to develop enterprise architectures, description system models, engineering analysis, and reports as needed
- Merge DE, MBSE, and Agile systems engineering methods to provide creative solutions for development, implementation, testing, and sustainment of new and legacy systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of systems engineering standard IEEE 15288
- Knowledge of using enterprise and system models during government program and engineering reviews
- Knowledge of system engineering disciplines, including configuration management, risk management, and cybersecurity
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including C++, Java, or Python
- Ability to plan and deliver capability and demonstrations using Agile project management
- Ability to produce solutions independently or with a team
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master’s degree in an Engineering, Science, or Mathematics field
- OCSMP Fundamental Certification
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification
