Requirements
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures and distributed systems at scale.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams, ideally with remote or hybrid teams.
- Experience working with and operating production compute infrastructure systems at large scale.
- Strong experience with strategic prioritization but able to strike the right balance between short term goals and longer-term vision.
Responsibilities
- Drive the vision and strategy on how to evolve our Compute platform.
- Build, scale, and mentor a cohesive team of amazing engineers and leaders.
- Form strong cross-functional partnerships to achieve alignment with many engineering teams, ensuring our solutions meet their needs, while maintaining our focus on scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Balance competing priorities across multiple cross-functional stakeholders and programs.
- Drive large initiatives to completion in tandem with partner and peer organizations.
