Requirements
- 10-15+ years of experience in developing and executing brand strategy and content marketing strategies
- Proven results in effective storytelling by building successful content marketing strategies and developing successful value propositions across WMC
- Ability to effectively collaborate across functions, make strategic decisions and manage various stakeholder expectations
- Experience in leading high-performing teams
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and people management skills
- Proven experience in translating business strategy into real results
- Track record of success working within a highly-matrixed organization
Responsibilities
- Build a content strategy across owned channels that aligns to and drives forward WMC’s business objectives
- Lead the design, development, and approval of the annual content strategy, with input from business SMEs, and content creator groups
- Revisit the content strategy on a quarterly basis with content creators and business SMEs, gather recommendations and adjust as appropriate to support marketing and business objectives
- Act as a liaison between content creators and content channel owners to optimize content creation, discuss budget allocations, and facilitate best-in-class content distribution to drive real results across the prospect and current client journey across channels
- Consolidate reporting across channels to present to executive leadership, collaborating with channel owners to optimize results
- Align content with RBC’s brand positioning to ensure consistency and differentiation
- Strengthen RBC’s market presence through compelling, audience-focused narratives
- Build and lead a high-performing team that aligns to RBC’s values and that collaborates well in a cross-functional team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services and/or wealth management sectors
- Proven results in managing teams to deliver high performing marketing campaigns
- Experience with UX, UI and analytics
- Experience with integrated, cross-channel performance marketing with both organic and paid executions.
