Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in a business partnering role at a high-growth technology company
  • Experience thinking strategically about complex business problems, leading to assessment of options, recommendations, and action plans
  • Prior experience partnering with Sales and Marketing organizations, preferably in technology/software with subscription/SaaS models
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to quickly craft precise and elegant responses
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high performing teams
  • Advanced Excel and experience building sophisticated models
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar finance forecasting systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance

Responsibilities

  • Become a key partner and advisor to the Sales and GTM Operations leadership teams, including the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and SVP of Partner Channel and SVP of GTM Operations
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify and model potential growth initiatives and provide recommendations to optimize the return on Go-To-Market investments
  • Build and improve management reporting and analyses to provide timely, insightful and actionable information to enable data-driven decision-making
  • Develop an understanding of Tanium’s go-to-market model, including various partner/channel motions, and translate this into operational and financial information to monitor the health of the business
  • Work closely with the Sales, GTM Operations and HR teams to deliver short term and long-range capacity plans
  • Deliver timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end planning and reporting deliverables
  • Prepare high-quality business analyses, insights, and modeling on ad hoc projects for the CEO, CFO and CRO
  • Responsible for creating content for Executive audiences as part of Quarterly Business Reviews, Board Presentations and Executive Leadership reviews
  • Drive continuous improvement within financial processes, tools and models, including ongoing enhancements to continuously improve forecast accuracy and provide line of sight to risks & opportunities
  • Lead and continuously develop the sales finance team
  • Comfortable working in high growth environments and having to operate in ambiguity
