Requirements
- Bachelor’S Degree (B.Sc., B.Comm, etc.) in Finance, Accounting, Management
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance
- SaaS industry experience is required, preferably experience working in a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
- Proficiency in financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Leadership experience in building and mentoring FP&A teams (at least 3+ years in management role).
- Track record of process improvement and automation in FP&A functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence executive leadership.
- Strong business partnering and influencing skills, experience working across executive leadership teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities.
- Excellent command of English; French is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term financial strategies to support company growth.
- Provide data-driven analysis and actionable recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Own and lead special projects related to the FP&A mandate.
- Develop and maintain Source of Truth Metrics to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
- Oversee FP&A team – including various reporting (monthly business reviews, board packages, and all other investor reporting).
- Lead forecasting and budgeting efforts to align financial resources with company objectives.
- Support short-term and long-term financial planning to sustain company growth and financial health.
- Evaluate the potential financial impact of new investments and strategic decisions.
- Review models and perform scenario analysis to forecast future financial outcomes.
- Develop and scale FP&A business partnering program, offering financial insights to drive operational improvements and profitable growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Implement best practices and enhance financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to drive financial discipline and strategic alignment across the organization.
