Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technical recruiting with at least five years leading campus/university recruiting teams
- Proven track record managing medium to large campus recruiting teams (20+ team members)
- Significant international recruiting experience with demonstrated success hiring in Europe
- Experience working at technology companies with highly competitive hiring bars or in competitive talent markets
- Deep understanding of global engineering talent landscapes and competitor programs
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive recruiting strategy and demonstrate ROI
- Outstanding people management skills with experience managing managers and developing recruiting talent
- Experience scaling campus recruiting programs during periods of rapid company growth
- Knowledge of global immigration processes related to early career hiring
- This role will require international travel (approximately 18-20%) and can be based in Boston, New York, or Paris.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, coach and scale a high performing global team of managers, leads, recruiters, coordinators, and program managers focused on early careers hiring.
- Design and implement a comprehensive global early careers recruiting strategy focused primarily on engineering talent in North America (Boston, and New York) and EMEA (Paris, Madrid), but also building out a non-technical campus program.
- Scale our early careers global recruiting approach for our Core Engineering, Systems and Reliability Engineering, Security Engineering, and Specialized Technology hiring and build a mature recruiting team that can meet the dynamic demands of our environment.
- Partner with Datadog global engineering and business Leaders, and people Team to execute against key hiring objectives and align headcount growth plans.
- Partner with C-suite and senior leaders to design and implement non-technical early career programs.
- Define consistent data-driven hiring metrics, productivity lens, and KPIs for early careers hiring.
- Execute creative talent sourcing strategies and partner with our employer brand and recruitment marketing team to create campaigns, events, and partnerships for attracting quality diverse talent.
- Stay connected to the competitive landscape, including compensation, intern programs, emergent technologies, and employment brand trends.
- Design and implement a comprehensive global early careers recruiting strategy focused on engineering talent in North America (Boston, and New York) and EMEA (Paris, Madrid).
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of campus recruiting managers, recruiters, and operations progressions across multiple international regions.
- Create scalable processes to identify, assess, and hire exceptional early career talent in competitive markets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with target universities and programs globally (with a big emphasis on French universities).
- Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively across global recruiting initiatives.
