Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 15+ years progressive information technology experience with strong technical background across enterprise application, infrastructure, security and cloud domains.
  • 10+ years management and strategy definition/execution experience.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the CIO to establish a technological vision and direction for the entire enterprise.
  • Collaborates with the CIO and business leaders, providing detailed insights into IT domains and capabilities to support company-wide business decisions.
  • Focuses and prioritizes within the IT organization by setting up strategic planning and governance principles and processes.
  • Leads the implementation of significant, enterprise-wide strategic programs or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Stays updated on new market trends and technological innovations as well as leadership in enterprise IT.
  • Develops and executes continuous improvement initiatives within the IT organization.
  • Oversees the development and management of IT workforce strategy, including sourcing, training, and staff development.
  • Promotes and ensures effective collaboration and communication between the IT department and user and customer groups.
  • Supports the strategic assessment of IT-related opportunities and risks; formulating actionable plans to address identified risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Ensures plans are clearly communicated in a non-technical manner to stakeholders.
