Requirements

  • Proficiency in advanced project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project) and data-driven performance metrics to measure program success
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to balance budgets, forecast expenditures, and articulate ROI to stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Define and establish operating model for delivering programs of work in an Agile environment
  • Lead and coach team of Portfolio, Program and Project Managers
  • Drive coordinated delivery across teams, applying knowledge of technology capabilities, industry trends and best practice
  • Establish and track metrics to measure progress against desired outcomes and benefits for identified programs: ‘what by when’ and ‘did they do it’
  • Resource and budget planning for technology teams required to deliver the missions
  • Build culture of high performing team across product, technology and business functions
  • Develop and maintain a structured governance framework ensuring that all projects adhere to organizational standards, compliance requirements, and risk management protocols
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to refine and optimize project management processes, including Agile methodologies, tools, and best practices across the organization
  • Implement and oversee a portfolio management approach to evaluate, prioritize, and track all ongoing and planned initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify and mitigate project and program risks, escalating issues to executive stakeholders as necessary
  • Ensure clear communication of project goals, responsibilities, expectations, and feedback loops across all levels of the organization
