Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, with experience in new product planning, commercial, or strategic roles.
- Strong knowledge of the drug development process, including the Product Development and Commercialization Process.
- Excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills required to understand scientific data, recognize key business issues and prepare high-level presentations for senior executives.
- Ability to shift thinking between the overall ‘big’ picture and the details.
- Proven track record of success showing strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to lead and influence without authority cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
- Excellent learning capability and aspiration for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to establish Target Product Profiles and validate as needed with external partners
- In partnership with commercial effectiveness and medical affairs, identify value drivers, competitive landscape evolution, epidemiology, and stakeholder prioritization
- Lead key strategic business decisions that inform commercialization strategy through collaboration and alignment across functions and regions
- Provide commercial insight and recommendations to clinical development programs and integrated evidence teams
- Work effectively across the company to ensure appropriate alignment with other functional areas’ initiatives and priorities
- Set and uphold expectations for commercial planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a breadth of pharmaceutical marketing roles is strongly preferred.
