Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, real estate, or related field.
- 10+ year’s experience in real estate asset management, real estate investment management, and/or commercial real estate brokerage/finance.
- Experience in one or more commercial property sectors including industrial, office, medical office, and mixed-use.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Argus experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- In partnership with Ryan Companies’ developers and others within the Ryan Investment Group, lead the development and implementation of marketing, leasing, and sales strategies to maximize value of assets.
- Coordinate lease NPV analysis and impacts on asset value and cash flow for all future lease transactions.
- Build and nurture on-going capital partner relationships with asset management teams.
- Working alongside Ryan’s accounting team, lead the management of cash flow and property distributions to maximize investment returns.
- Develop and manage capital improvement plans, including cost benefit analysis.
- Provide leadership and direction to REM and RBS functions on assets. Review and approve operating budgets for properties.
- Partner with Ryan Capital Markets to analyze, negotiate and execute loan refinancing’s or restructurings.
- Partner with Ryan Portfolio Management to complete quarterly reforecasting of property investment returns and participate in quarterly reporting meetings with Ryan senior management.
- Lead reporting and communications to Ryan JV partners.
- Complete and review quarterly hold/sale analysis and valuation.
- Partner with Ryan Capital Markets to sell assets. Manage due diligence coordination on sale assets.
- Assist with asset management responsibilities on Ryan’s senior living and multifamily assets as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Argus experience is preferred.
