Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 10 years related work experience.
  • Financial Services experience is required; Mortgage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with executive management, directs the design, implementation and maintenance of Employee Benefits programs that are aligned with company’s vision and goals.
  • In partnership with executive management, develops and leads total reward retention programs to reward performance and ensures programs are internally equitable and externally competitive.
  • Acts as internal consultant on benefits and leave program best practices, industry trends, legislative issues, and market competitiveness by providing technical expertise, advice and guidance to executives, managers, and employees.
  • Designs and administers health and welfare programs including vendor management, annual open enrollments, and manages coverage services with carriers.
  • Directs the management of Benefit Outsource providers to ensure efficient and accurate administration, processing, and maintenance of employee benefit programs.
  • Ensures accurate communication of benefit program information to participants through sophisticated and customized materials and resources.
  • Oversees the administration of the leave of absence programs.
  • Acts as Plan Administrator and fiduciary for 401(k) Retirement plan including leading annual testing, audits, and execution of 5500s; participates as member of 401(k) committee and manages carrier.
  • Ensures compliance with provisions of FLSA, ERISA, FMLA, CFRA, CPDL, ADA, local, state, and federal legislative requirements associated with the management of all, benefit, retirement and leave programs.
  • Manages team including motivating/mentoring staff, conducting performance reviews, and performing disciplinary action as appropriate.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
