Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in IT or enablement platforms, including 5 years in management roles.
- Experience in systems design, from business requirements analysis through day-to-day platform management, is required.
Responsibilities
- Leads the strategic development and management of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and MLOps processes, enabling scalable and efficient technology solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.
- Designs and optimizes AWS cloud infrastructure to support critical applications, ensuring high availability, cost efficiency, and seamless integration with automation and deployment pipelines.
- Spearheads the implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines, enabling faster and more reliable delivery of software solutions while integrating MLOps frameworks to streamline machine learning model deployment and lifecycle management.
- Develops and enforces best practices for cloud infrastructure, automation, and MLOps, focusing on scalability, security, and operational resilience.
- Directs cross-functional initiatives to enhance enterprise technology platforms, integrating OpenText ECM, UC4 workload automation, and InRule with cloud and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborates with engineering and data science teams to implement cutting-edge MLOps pipelines, automating workflows from model training and testing to deployment and monitoring.
- Manages vendor relationships, contracts, and compliance for tools like JIRA and InRule, aligning third-party solutions with enterprise cloud and automation strategies.
- Conducts cost-benefit analyses for cloud and automation technologies, justifying investments in innovative platforms that enhance business agility and reduce time-to-market.
- Defines and executes cloud governance, automation policies, and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with organizational goals.
- Builds and leads a team of cloud platform and automation experts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning to drive excellence in CI/CD and MLOps delivery.
- Provides strategic leadership for hiring, onboarding, and professional development, ensuring team members excel in cloud platforms, automation, and machine learning operations.
- Manages and optimizes cloud spending employing Financial Operations practices to effectively govern for platform investment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, and AWS Certified Machine Learning, are strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is strongly preferred.
- Certifications such as Certified DataOps Professional, TOGAF® 9 Certified – Enterprise Architecture, or ITIL® 4 Leader: Digital & IT Strategy are desirable and considered a plus.
- Additional certifications, including Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Jenkins Engineer Certification (CJE), would further distinguish a candidate.
