Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least five to seven years progressively responsible student services experience in higher education admissions, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with supervisory experience required.
• Proven leadership in team settings and cross-level collaboration. Expertise in collaboration, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
• Skilled in marketing strategies to achieve recruitment goals.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills, along with oral, written, and organizational communication.
• Proficient in databases, analytics, and digital tools.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality.
• Builds and maintains effective relationships across groups.
• Open to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee or personally conduct the admission and recruitment process for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree program, including counseling, recruitment, marketing, publications, and application evaluation.
• Formulate an integrated communications and marketing plan and evaluate its effectiveness using appropriate metrics.
• Develop enrollment models for long range planning and forecasting and provide insight and guidance on selection and yield.
• Set goals and craft recruitment strategies to enhance the applicant pool.
• Motivate and mobilize a team around shared goals and inspire those outside the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree or Phd in educational psychology, counselor education, statistics and measurements, higher education administration or related field.
• Seven to ten years of admissions experience in graduate, medical, veterinary medical or other professional degree programs, with demonstration of progressive responsibility.
• Familiarity with evolving trends in higher education enrollment management.
• Experience utilizing PeopleSoft.
