Requirements
- 10+ years professional software development experience
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams
- 2+ years of experience coaching other engineering managers and leading multiple engineering teams
- Experience designing and delivering high-availability, scalable cloud-based systems
- Deep experience in multiple, managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar
- Experience working with multiple SQL or NoSQL datastores
- Proven ability for coaching and mentoring
- You love delighting end users and hunger for novel challenges
Responsibilities
- Driving the execution of your teams by supporting your managers in planning, prioritization, stand-ups, and team retro meetings
- Leading the technical direction of the team through architectural discussions and code reviews
- Working with product managers and product designers to drive the product strategy for Axon Evidence in the Justice and Corrections markets both in the US and internationally
- Join forces with recruiting to hire a top-notch engineering team
- Coaching and growing managers and senior engineers with weekly 1:1s
