Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A., B.B.A., or B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or Associate’s degree (A. A. or A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer and advanced Excel skills, including demonstrated use of Pivot Tables.
  • Prior experience with accounting software including Great Plains is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and receiving payment and posting amount to customer’s account.
  • Preparing statements to credit department if customer fails to respond.
  • Working closely with other departments to keep them informed and/or provide pertinent information.
  • Keeping records of collection and status of accounts.
  • Locating and notifying brand leaders and/or management of delinquent accounts.
  • Advising customers of necessary actions and strategies for payment.
  • Locating and monitoring overdue accounts.
  • Collecting deposits, payments or fees.
  • Discussing account status or activity with customers or patrons.
  • Filing documents or records electronically.
  • Maintaining financial or account records.
  • Monitoring and maintaining confidentiality with financial information.
  • Obtaining personal or financial information about customers or applicants.
  • Providing information to coworkers.
  • Providing notifications to customers or patrons.
  • Responding to customer problems or complaints.
  • Assisting with annual audits regarding requested documentation.
  • Maintaining and creating reports on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis.
  • Engaging with customers to assist in completing documentation to obtain financing.
  • Developing dashboards to summarize both A/R and Financing activities for Executive management.
  • Enhancing Financing options for customers to obtain funds through unsecured credit sources, SBA lending and ROBS 401K rollover program.
  • Making decisions in accordance with government laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with accounting software including Great Plains is desirable.
  • Exposure to foreign currency transactions is desirable.
