Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred but not required.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in both strategic planning and tactical execution within HR.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies and procedures
  • Experience operating in a global company with a footprint in multiple regions.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and HR analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals to support growth and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead a high-performing, global HR team across the U.S. and the Philippines.
  • Partner with executives to drive organizational design and change initiatives that support evolving business needs.
  • Design and implement leadership development programs and succession plans to ensure a strong internal pipeline for critical roles.
  • Oversee international HR operations and employment structures, including partnerships with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), partnering with various departments.
  • Manage relationships with global vendors and benefits providers to ensure consistent service delivery, compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • Support the HR team in driving continuous improvement of HR systems and processes to enhance user experience, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity and leverage HR analytics and reporting tools to enable data-driven decision-making and strategic workforce planning.
  • Support staffing team for oversight of end-to-end talent management efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with the team to attract top-tier talent and build a strong employer brand across markets.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture that reflects JSSI’s values.
  • Lead employee engagement strategies, including feedback mechanisms and internal communication initiatives, to build a strong sense of belonging and alignment.
  • Champion continuous feedback and development through structured performance management practices.
  • Introduce and oversee learning and development programs that support skill-building, career growth, and leadership readiness.
  • Design and manage competitive compensation structures and benefit offerings that align with market trends and business objectives.
  • Oversee total rewards strategy, including pay equity, incentive programs, and employee wellness initiatives.
  • Working along with our compliance department with all applicable federal, state, local, and international labor laws.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and handbooks to reflect legal, cultural, and organizational changes.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement.
  • Ensure consistent, fair, and values-based approaches to sensitive employee matters and organizational change management.
