Requirements
- You’re a strategic, full-stack marketer with deep experience across acquisition, CRM, and brand marketing. You know how to build integrated campaigns that drive measurable growth and have managed annual marketing budgets in excess of $10MM+.
- You have 8+ years of marketing experience in consumer-facing businesses, marketplaces, membership models, or fast-growing startups. Experience in travel, lifestyle, or community-driven brands is a plus.
- You think creatively about messaging and segmentation. You know that the right message to the right audience is critical — and you’re skilled at tailoring creative strategies to different customer groups.
- You’re data-driven, but not data-obsessed. You know when to dig into the numbers to drive optimization — and when to trust your gut, take a smart risk, and move quickly.
- You have strong project management and operational chops. You’re organized, great at managing calendars, timelines, and cross-functional teams, and you can juggle multiple priorities without dropping balls.
- You’ve built (and love building) programs from scratch. You’re energized by ambiguity and the opportunity to create new strategies, processes, and campaigns from the ground up.
- You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments. You love working with scrappy, high-performing teams and are comfortable wearing multiple hats.
- You have a passion for travel, entrepreneurship, and community. You’re excited by Fora’s mission and the opportunity to empower others to turn their passion for travel into a meaningful business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the US Advisor acquisition strategy: Identify priority audience segments based on opportunity size, needs, and behaviors. Analyze geographic markets to uncover high-potential areas for targeted acquisition efforts. Regularly assess and refine targeting strategies based on performance data and evolving business needs.
- Lead marketing plan development and management: Create a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with overall company goals, including clear acquisition and revenue targets. Outline specific channel strategies, key initiatives, and resource allocation. Manage the planning cycle, ensuring campaigns and initiatives are properly forecasted, funded, and executed on schedule.
- Define messaging strategy and creative requirements: Craft compelling, differentiated messaging that resonates with key segments while reinforcing Fora’s overall brand positioning. Translate messaging into actionable creative briefs. Partner closely with creative teams to ensure content, visuals, and assets are optimized for each channel and audience.
- Own the integrated marketing calendar: Build and manage a holistic marketing calendar that aligns advisor acquisition and retention efforts across paid media, owned content, local marketing, events, and partnerships. Ensure cross-functional teams have visibility into key initiatives and timelines to maximize coordination and impact.
- Direct and optimize all acquisition channels and activities: Take full ownership of the channels and tactics driving US Advisor growth, including but not limited to digital advertising, organic and paid social, content marketing, SEO, partnerships, webinars, and local activations. Continuously optimize channel performance through testing, analytics, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Manage performance marketing goals and budgets: Set, track, and report on KPIs related to advisor acquisition and growth from paid performance channels. Collaborate with Fora’s centralized growth team to manage campaign execution, budget pacing, creative needs, and performance optimization. Ensure investments are delivering against cost-per-acquisition and ROI targets.
- Build and execute local and field marketing programs: Design and roll out scalable local marketing initiatives to drive advisor acquisition and engagement at the community level. This includes event sponsorships, hosted events, partnerships with local organizations, and targeted geo-specific campaigns. Collaborate with the Advisor Experience team to integrate local marketing into broader engagement strategies.
