Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership
  • At least 5 years in a senior role focused on security and network administration
  • In-depth knowledge of information security frameworks
  • Knowledge of network architecture
  • Knowledge of cloud security
  • Knowledge of incident response
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s security strategy and frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and industry best practices
  • Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Provide expert counsel on emerging security trends, threats, and tools
  • Establish policies and procedures to maintain high standards of data governance and risk management
  • Oversee ongoing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response procedures
  • Manage security-related audits and develop remediation plans to address identified gaps
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and reliable network architectures and office spaces
  • Manage external vendors and service providers
  • Recruit and retain top IT talent
  • Develop and manage the IT and security budget
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration
  • Oversee the provisioning and deprovisioning of employee hardware and software
  • Manage secure remote access solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable
