Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architectural or Management degree
- At least 10 years of construction project management experience
- 5 years in a preconstruction role (mission critical or industrial experience preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, training, platform, controls and monitoring for preconstruction, estimating, and project management staff
- Raise the level of preconstruction services delivered on projects by providing templates, tools, and processes
- Promote Design-Build and IPD project delivery methods internally and externally
- Promote competitive pricing and procurement strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable and effective in delivering formal sales presentations
- Advanced knowledge of preconstruction means and methods, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and material pricing and design management
- Ability to promptly and effectively resolve issues with win-win solutions
- Natural leadership skills and qualities to guide multiple project teams
- Team player who leads by example, displays honesty, integrity, and good judgment
