Requirements

  • 15+ years experience as a Product Manager for a large scale software application, with at least 5 years in a Leadership and/or Management role.
  • Extensive experience with Platform product work strongly preferred. Prior experience bringing features to market related to video playback, proxies, digital rights management, and/or storage and compute cloud services from AWS/Azure/GCP etc.
  • Deep passion for the content creation space and for innovation.
  • Strong EQ, influencing skills, and leadership ability, ideally including experience driving consensus in matrixed organizations, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed environment at scale partnering across all functions, business units and geographies.
  • You are capable of making sound decisions with incomplete or imperfect data; you have a proven track record of assessing tradeoffs, thoughtfully prioritizing initiatives, and maintaining a bias for action.
  • Exceptional communication skills at all altitudes and for all audiences. Focus on building internal and external relationships to build trust and drive results.
  • Writing and storytelling skills. You want to build a vision that people are excited to get behind, and communicate it broadly, through writing.
  • You always center the customer and you care about their outcomes.
  • You’re deeply technical. Platform Product Management requires deeper technical knowledge to be effective on engineering-heavy teams. You’ll partner closely with engineers to understand how our data is modeled and how it flows through our system, enough to build trust and influence the technical strategy using business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong POV and multi-year vision for the interoperability opportunity of creative workflows via various platform capabilities.
  • Engage with Frame customers and partners to evaluate, identify, and prioritize needs.
  • Spot risks, find opportunities, identify competitive landscapes, and emerging trends, and understand implications, breaking insights down into pragmatic actions.
  • Crafting the strategy and roadmap, defining the goals in partnership with cross-functional category leadership to include executives, design, product marketing, program management, and engineering.
  • Balance between short-term investments and future bets to deliver world class experiences. Foster an environment where employees are inspired to contribute to realizing the vision.
  • Craft and communicate product strategy across organizations – gain consensus, encourage collaboration, and influence senior executives to acquire necessary resources -, regularly engaging with partner teams to evangelize features.
  • Lead a team of product managers who have deep experience in the industry, coaching them to achieve excellence in quality of PM artifacts (roadmaps, backlogs, PRDs) and data-driven decision making.
  • Drive a robust software development process that is agile, predictable, and results driven. Bring a combination of critical thinking and pragmatic delivery.
  • Interactions involve visible activities such as speaking with customers or partners, influencing others, and representing the organization.
  • Manage and allocate budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a workplace that celebrates and respects differences.
  • Foster a sense of belonging and purpose, encouraging a strong connection to the vision and mission. Encourage a culture of continuous feedback, both formal and informal, to support individual and team development.
  • Be a leader with vision and evangelist in creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Be on the lookout for strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities to bring more capabilities to Adobe. Should an opportunity present itself, the candidate should be able to build the case, bring it to the executive team and make the right relationship happen.
  • As one of a handful of Product leaders, you’ll be accountable to the overall health, growth, and quality of the Product discipline and team culture.
