Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling software products.
- Direct experience specifically focused on Conversational AI, Chatbots, Virtual Assistants, or related technologies.
- Deep understanding of NLP/NLU, Search, and machine learning principles.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate a compelling product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Elastic’s Conversational AI product.
- Become the subject matter expert on the conversational AI landscape – understanding trends, competitive offerings and emerging technologies, with a focus on conversational AI with enterprise data.
- Translate the product vision into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize features based on market opportunity, technical feasibility, and alignment with Elastic’s overall strategy.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team (initially small, but expected to grow), and work closely with engineering to plan the roadmap and identify dependencies on external teams.
- Define key metrics for success and continuously monitor product performance. Use data to inform product decisions and drive iterative improvements.
- Conduct user research, gather customer feedback, and build strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and pain points.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Elasticsearch or other search technologies.
- Experience building and leading remote teams.
- Experience contributing to or working with open-source communities.
- Knowledge and experience building products with LLMs and GenAI frameworks.
