Requirements

  • Extensive experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior management to create comprehensive construction development strategies, identify potential projects, evaluate market trends, and establish project goals.
  • Oversee the early stages of project development, which include site evaluation, feasibility studies, design concept development, and budget estimations.
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams consisting of architects, engineers, contractors, internal project managers, and other stakeholders while delegating tasks and ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Oversee project budgets, track expenses, spot cost-saving opportunities, and make essential adjustments during the construction process.
  • Create and uphold project timelines, recognize critical paths, and proactively resolve potential delays.
  • Set and enforce quality standards during construction, ensuring adherence to building codes and project specifications.
  • Identify and proactively address potential risks linked to construction projects, such as environmental, legal, and safety issues.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong connections with internal clients, keep them informed about project progress, and respond to their concerns.
  • Negotiate and oversee contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Keep informed about emerging construction technologies and methods, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
