Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Speech Language Pathology
- Prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Speech Language Pathology
- Must be proficient in computer skills
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises and guides all therapy personnel
- Daily scheduling for the department staff
- Provides direct care and works with supervisor to determine appropriate caseload
- Adherence to all regulatory standards as they pertain to the delivery of rehabilitation services
- Assures that the rehabilitation needs of the residents are met
- Ensures that all clinical documentation is complete, timely, and accurately reflects the services provided
- Monitors treatment programs for outcomes and adjusts plans of care
- Attends and participates in facility and company meetings
- Completes billing documentation timely and accurately
- Promotes a positive attitude to staff and community
- Implements new treatment programs
- Ensures that the services delivered are of the highest quality
