Requirements
- Growth minded individual with a minimum 30 years’ experience with demonstrated success in managing large federal contracts delivering IT services to agency customers.
- Skilled in oral and written communications with C-level executives in the federal government.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a consultative sales model with senior business and government leaders to position and win new business.
- Proven ability to create and execute account plans and strategies to enter new markets and win new programs.
- Demonstrated business development and customer relationship management related to agency accounts and pursuits in a varied contract portfolio that includes cost plus, T&M and FFP contracts.
- Demonstrated experience in program management for the delivery of federal government contracts in IT services including cloud, AI, software development, and infrastructure services.
- Experience managing all aspects of a $40M/year business area including personnel, subcontractors, customer relationship, and overall technical delivery.
- Possess working knowledge of federal contract vehicles including GWAC vehicles such as Alliant and Oasis as well as GSA MAS. Experience advising federal customers on use and selection of contract vehicles.
- Proven successes reflecting the ability to grow the business with new business wins.
- Strong skill in business writing and communication – both technical and non-technical.
- Familiarity and experience managing the pipeline and utilizing tools such as Salesforce.
- Experience with competitive analysis.
- Demonstrated ability and interpersonal skills to work with Executives and lead teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and execute segments of the FedCiv growth strategy for the Science & Space (S&S) Business.
- Work with prospective customers to help identify and work out solutions to their challenges.
- Collaborate with a diverse internal team of technical and business development professionals to develop winning proposals.
- Engage in front end customer engagement and market shaping activity with pursuits in pre-capture and capture stage.
- Individually responsible for market shaping and customer engaging activities directly with federal government customers.
- Develop and win new business through a thorough understanding of the focused markets, target agencies, opportunities, customers, competition, to bring new winnable programs into the KBR S&S pipeline.
