Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in content marketing or thought leadership roles
- Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, particularly in the mobile app marketing ecosystem
- Exceptional ability to write, edit, and tell compelling stories—simplifying complex ideas with clarity
- Demonstrated success partnering with research or insights teams to craft data-driven narratives and uncover the story behind the numbers
- Track record of managing external agencies, freelancers, and research partners to efficiently scale content production
- Proven experience developing content that drives engagement, thought leadership, and business impact
- Ability to work cross-functionally – both internally and externally – and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on; you can build the plan and execute it
- Thrives in navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments with ambiguity and evolving priorities
Responsibilities
- Build Moloco’s thought leadership and content strategy from the ground up, with a clear structure that can be shared across teams for alignment and collaboration
- Establish Moloco as a credible, forward-thinking voice in the advertising and mobile app marketing ecosystem
- Develop and own full-funnel content programs that engage target audiences across the buyer journey—from awareness to conversion—including blog series, research reports, webinars, and newsletters that tie back to Moloco’s business objectives and product strategy
- Own the editorial calendar and content roadmap across formats (blog, research reports, webinars, videos, newsletters, etc.) and ensure cross-functional teams are aligned and informed throughout the content development process
- Write high-quality content and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies as needed
- Play the role of editor across content and surfaces to ensure consistency and quality
- Lead the end-to-end development of data-driven research reports in partnership with the Marketing Insights team and external partners
- Ensure research outputs are unique, insightful, and valuable for mobile app marketers, agencies, and developers
- Build and scale customer storytelling programs—including case studies, testimonials, short-form videos, and customer-led content
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to identify and activate advocates
- Lead content launches by collaborating with cross-functional teams – such as digital, comms, and social – to ensure content is distributed and amplified across owned, earned, and paid channels
- Define success metrics for content and thought leadership initiatives
- Monitor performance, gather insights, and iterate strategies based on what works
Preferred Qualifications
