Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience designing and launching consumer mobile applications for iOS and Android, web/eCommerce, and enterprise web desktop solutions.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design expertise.
- Proven expertise in design and research process and strategy.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of mobile design patterns, accessibility, and platform guidelines (iOS/Android).
- Experience in conducting user research, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution when needed.
Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class UX/UI design team, fostering innovation and professional growth.
- Define and drive the overarching UX/UI vision, strategy, design principles, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with business goals and user expectations.
- Partner with executive leadership to influence product roadmaps and long-term strategic planning.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align design initiatives with business objectives and user needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, ensuring high-quality, user-centered design solutions at scale.
- Drive research-led design decisions by leveraging user insights, usability testing, and data analytics.
- Establish and maintain a scalable design system and visual identity across all mobile and web platforms.
- Advocate for user experience and design thinking at the executive level, influencing key product and business decisions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in mobile and web UX/UI design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Product domain experience in one of the following areas is preferred: residential internal, consumer IOT, or smart home.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (preferred).
