Requirements
- New York Area Based
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- 10+ years of experience in selling complex enterprise SaaS
- Knowledge of wealth platforms (home office and advisor facing technology)
- Willingness to travel within the Americas is a must
Responsibilities
- Build a business development plan of attack and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities to drive Aladdin Wealth Enterprise sales in the US.
- Work closely with senior sales management team to generate prospect client leads, support the end-to-end sales of investment technology products to key prospects, and harvest revenue opportunities across existing clients.
- Engage in a consultative sales process to communicate and demonstrate Aladdin’s unique value proposition.
- Create commercial proposals, lead negotiations, and close deals.
- Establish strong personal relationships with clients and represent all of BlackRock in a compelling fashion.
- Develop strong internal relationships with all groups within Aladdin Wealth and the broader BlackRock organization to ensure an excellent client experience and convey client requirements holistically.
- Contribute innovative ideas to Aladdin’s product team based on prospective client needs and strategic insights to meet the needs of the fast-evolving market place.
- Exhibit leadership skills to be a cultural flag-bearer with the ability to inspire people.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in wealth management & technology
- Deep knowledge of the US wealth market with existing relationships at wealth firms
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading sales opportunities and closing deals
- Understands business, financial and technical terminology, including how organizations operate, compete, profit and grow
- Ability to work across organizational functional lines and be effective in a global organization
- Uncovers and meets the needs of external clients; builds strong working partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders; acts with urgency and works hard to address client demands; effectively manages clients’ expectations and delivers value-added service
- Leads to achieve objectives and drive results; inspires and motivates people to the highest levels of performance; is accessible, engaged and a positive force for change; provides timely and actionable feedback
- Committed to gaining relevant knowledge, skills and experience; stays passionate about the business and maintains current knowledge about competitor products and services; technologically ‘aware’ to be conversant with clients and visualize opportunities; technology knowledge is important, but a deep skillset is not necessary
- Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients
- Ability to operate as a self-starter, operating with limited guidance in a highly matrixed organization; enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment; able to manage multiple priorities
