Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience, including 5+ at a leadership level running IT Quality Assurance and/or Software Development Departments; multiple levels of reporting relationships strongly preferred
- Extensive knowledge and experience of software QA processes, test management tools, test automation and testing frameworks for web-based and mobile applications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, Master’s preferred
- Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the activities of the organization’s software QA function and a team of QA professionals
- Direct the QA strategy, approach, and execution within a range of development activities
- Define, Develop and Implement the QA strategy and roadmap across the organization
- Introduce and implement appropriate QA best practices and contribute to improving the company’s overall QA capabilities
- Collaborate with Sr. IT and Business Management to improve software quality and application performance
- Establish expectations for QA roles within the organization and oversee team’s growth and development
- Develop successor and talent pool
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
