Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of experience successfully managing and building teams of technical sales professionals.
- Highly knowledgeable in key technologies AHEAD supports, with at least 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 6 – 8 cross-functional Specialist Solutions Engineers
- Present AHEAD’s value proposition to AHEAD’s mid-market customers and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with the AHEAD SVP, Mid-Market Sales and mid-market Client Directors to assist in developing and executing sales plays leveraging our Specialist Solutions Engineers and services portfolio.
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to the team to enhance their solution knowledge, technical acumen, and presales skill sets.
- Oversee the career development of the Specialist Solutions Engineers, including external training and internal career roadmaps.
- Build relationships with key partners and their field leadership teams.
- Foster and maintain key relationships with customer stakeholders and project sponsors.
- Manage key performance metrics to track the progress of each Specialist Solutions Engineer and presales manager.
- Develop processes to leverage AHEAD’s key distribution partner’s SE teams for burst capacity to run campaigns and assist with proposal and quote generation for opportunities.
- Oversee AHEAD’s internal config / quote desk function.
- Collaborate consistently with the Delivery Directors on the progress of sold engagements and maintain a feedback loop with the Specialist Solutions Engineers to ensure continuity between presales, delivery, and the customer.
