Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, human services, or a related field
  • At least 15 years of experience in a people department across various areas including employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, learning & development, compensation, benefits, and/or operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and labor-related laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and NLRA
  • 10 years of experience influencing high impact decisions at senior levels of an organization
  • At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide talent management programs
  • 5+ years of experience in full cycle recruitment with a solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools
  • Advanced knowledge and skill using applicant tracking software
  • Strong data orientation and comfort making data-driven decisions

Responsibilities

  • Develop programs, initiatives, and systems to recruit, engage, and retain talent
  • Build strong relationships with organization leaders to align business strategy and organizational needs
  • Establish talent KPIs and oversee the collection and analysis of people-related data
  • Manage the business partner function and oversee a team of P&C Partners
  • Lead the employee engagement assessment and develop strategies to improve employee experience and retention
  • Design and oversee effective employee relations programs
  • Establish and administer effective people-related policies and procedures
  • Build compelling, inclusive onboarding programs
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer
  • Direct the continuous improvement of TA systems and recruiting processes
  • Manage relationships with recruitment-related partners
  • Collaborate with other People & Culture and cross-functional leaders
  • Create innovative sourcing and outreach strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology, organizational development, applied behavioral science or related discipline
  • Valid PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience providing business partner support to creative, revenue-generating, and/or technical teams in the technology or media industry
  • Experience overseeing talent management programs for unionized staff
  • Understanding of customer service as a People & Culture professional
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at every level
  • Ability to build trust across cultural differences
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google or Microsoft tools
