Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive Tax experience.
  • Healthy mix of public accounting and corporate tax accounting preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A accounting and integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting ERP implementations preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high growth organization.
  • Prior experience in companies that are tech or advanced manufacturing.
  • CPA (active) and/or MBA
  • Able to get hands dirty to drive organizational change while also maintaining an ability to manage up against strategic priorities/reporting.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive Anduril’s domestic and international tax strategy, including what-if scenarios, tax org chart optimization, subsidiary vs. branch office analysis for international expansion, etc.
  • Own and drive Anduril’s domestic and international tax compliance, including returns, payments, audits, etc.
  • Own and drive Anduril’s domestic and international tax accounting, including transfer pricing, use tax accruals, ASC 450 accruals, VAT accruals, income tax provisions, etc.
  • Own and manage the relationships with Anduril’s network of professional tax advisors.
  • Support M&A by owning and driving pre-close tax diligence, M&A structuring analysis, and immediate support with tax compliance in the days following close of a transaction.
  • Own and manage ongoing transfer pricing studies and policy rollouts to international subsidiaries.
  • Provide advisory support for Anduril business, including payroll tax related inquiries, charitable donation inquiries, 409a and equity award implications, etc.
  • Develop effective working relationships and liaise with other functional areas including technical accounting, financial reporting, revenue, treasury, manufacturing finance, supply chain, FP&A, and corporate development.
  • Provide team leadership through managing talent including motivating, coaching, training and mentoring team members.
  • Assist with Anduril’s possible preparation for a future IPO and ERP implementation.
  • Support the external audit process with PwC.
  • Develop, manage and own executive level goals each year as assigned by leadership.
