Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in distribution work processes, procedures and safety standards or equivalent related experience (to include previous supervisory experience)
- Good working knowledge of distribution operations activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership support to assist the Contract Coordination Supervisor with job coordination/planning, safety, crew critique, employee development, or other tasks as needed.
- Inspect and accept or reject contractor work for compliance to safety, design and construction standards and construction quality.
- Assure contracted construction projects flow smoothly.
- Resolve customer’s concerns associated with work performed by contractors.
- Document construction events to protect AEP’s interest from future claims.
- Assure contractor invoices are accurate, complete and reasonable.
- Provide feedback concerning contractor performance to Contract Administration for use in future contracting activities.
- Certify acceptability of contractor’s work for invoice approval and payment.
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
